Yoroi Bitsu (kara bitsu or gusoku bitsu, armor chest) is an ornate handcrafted wooden box that is used for the display, storage and transportation of gusoku (samurai armor set). They would also place a specially designed stand on top, to display their armor as needed. The Iron Mountain Armory has faithfully recreated both the bitsu and stand to allow you to store and display your samurai armor with pride. Upon special request, we can hand paint your choice of samurai clan mon, your family crest, kanji or a company logo on the front of the box.
This Yoroi Bitsu can be ordered with the standard kanji (front) or a custom Mon (Samurai Clan Symbol) or with your own custom Mon/logo for an extra fee. For a standard mon, please select one in the Options. To have your own design/logo painted, select “Custom Mon” in the options, and after ordering your yoroi bitsu, please email us the mon or logo you’d like painted, by replying to the Order Confirmation you receive. Please note we can only paint single-color,”ClipArt” style images onto your box.
