Description

Limited Availability Stock Promotion. Sold As Seen – Ready To Ship

Okegawa Ni-Mai Samurai Armor set, is a Japanese market design, featuring single both laminated front & back chest piece. It is full sized for display and wear.  Sized for someone 5′ 6 to 5′ 10″ tall, 38 to 44″ chest size.  This style do was the most common style armor set crafted in the late Sengoku era (Warring State). Categorized as tosei meaning “modern” (with relation to the era, being post 1500 A.D.)  This Daimyo class Okegawa Ni-mai Gusoku is crafted by our senior katchû-shi (Japanese armor smith), at the Iron Mountain Armory using a mixture of traditional design with some modern materials to give a more regal look reserved for Daimyo. The technical name for this style of armor is “Tosei Yokohagi Okegawa Ni-Mai Do,” which loosely translates to a “Modern” Two Section Cuirass with Horizontal Plating Joined by a Pin Hinge.

Now you can purchase your own Daimyo class Samurai Yoroi.  The suit is “As Shown” with a hachi goshozan kabuto and does not offer any extra options to change it.  It comes as seen with black yoroi bitsu (display box) and display stand.  Assembling the armor parts onto the stand is of course required to display the armor as seen.  Assembly instructions and how to wear your armor instructions are digitally available via our website.

Features: Daimyo Class crafting.

  • Full sized and fully functional.
  • Variation of paint, high quality cotton odoshi colors and traditional features.
