KOTE-3 Kawan Kote
Kawan Kote (vambrace / forearm guard) are a form of shino-gote used to protect the forearm. These are a less traditional form of kote, crafted more for Gendai budō (現代武道 ) who needed lightweight forearm protection. Kawan kote can be worn comfortably and discreetly under clothing to give some protection against edged or blunt weapon attacks. The shino (splint) plating typically protects the forearm, which is roughly 2 cm above the wrist and 6 cm below the elbow. Great build quality and attention to detail
The Kotes they crafted for me were exactly as I wanted and even have survived multiple tests I put them through and I am confident in their ability to protect me from harm due to the excellent work that samurai armor put into them I believe even honda tadakatsu himself would be envious of these kotes.
