Tokugawa Ieyasu Daikoku Zukin Nari Taisho Kabuto

Legendary Tokugawa Ieyasu’s Daikoku Zukin Nari Kabuto is handcrafted by the world renown Taisho armorers of the Iron Mountain Armory. This particular reproduction kawari kabuto was crafted in honor of Tokugawa Ieyasu (徳川家康) and it is known as the “Tokugawa Crown“.  This kawari bachi (helmet bowl of unconventional shape) is nari (to be of) Daikoku boshi, a flat-topped cloth cap with four corners and a circular peak, took its name from the cap worn by Daikoku, one of the Seven Lucky Gods.

The Daikoku Zukin Nari Kabuto or simply “Tokugawa Crown” features an all steel bachi (helmet bowl) construction, with a simulated armored zukin (hood), presenting ornate eyebrows embossed into the red mabizashi (visor) and wooden, gold fern fronds maedate (crest) with your choice of clan mon (Tokugawa Mon is preselected).  This is truly a very unique kabuto believed to bestow luck and good fortune to its owner, provenly so as is believed to have been worn by Tokugawa Ieyasu during the final battle which unified Japan under his rule.
